USENIX LEET ’10 Submission Deadline Approaching

The submissions deadline for the 3rd USENIX Workshop on Large-Scale Exploits and Emergent Threats (LEET ’10) is quickly approaching.

Please submit your work by Thursday, February 25, 2010, 11:59 p.m. PST.

Just Announced: LEET ’10 will feature two invited talks:
– “Why Don’t I (Still) Trust Anything?” by Jeff Moss, founder and director of Black Hat and DEF CON

– “Naked Avatars and Other Cautionary Tales About MMORPG Password Stealers,” by Jeff Williams, the principal group program manager for the Microsoft Malware Protection Center

LEET ’10 will take place on April 27, 2010, in San Jose, CA, and will be co-located with NSDI ’10.

EVT/WOTE ’09 CFP Submissions Deadline: April 17, 2009

The submissions deadline for the 2009 Electronic Voting Technology Workshop/ Workshop on Trustworthy Elections (EVT/WOTE ’09) is approaching.

Please submit all papers by April 17, 2009.

EVT/WOTE seeks to bring together researchers from a variety of disciplines, ranging from computer science and human-computer interaction experts through political scientists, legal experts, election administrators, and voting equipment vendors.

EVT/WOTE ’09 is co-located with USENIX Security ’09 and will take place August 10-11, 2009 in Montreal, Canada.
